As an Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and delivering ‘Insight’ to internal stakeholders and external clients. The definition of ‘Insight’ varies by scenario, but will generally involve sophisticated data processing, reporting and analysis, big data analysis, problem solving, development and/or application of tools and processes, and identification of opportunities to learn/do/find more with data we hold within or outside of the Linkdex platform.
The assignments the Insight team receive will require you to challenge, explore, and creatively interpret briefs; you will need to ‘step up’ our response, solutions and support at every opportunity. You must be able to take an end-point requirement and through robust exploration of the client’s needs deconstruct it to define what is required to deliver. You will manage resources to deliver on time, and on brief – without micromanagement, with confidence and independence.
Beyond inbound requests, you must identify opportunities to improve the Linkdex platform, to expand our offerings (either in the platform or as standalone services), to refine our processes, and to continually evolve our definition of ‘Insight’.
You will need to appreciate the nuances of different industries and sectors, the businesses and challenges of our individual clients, and the strategy and commercial context of our own business. You should apply real-world context to the platform and our data to offer use-cases, solutions, and expert support.
You will understand the pyschology of clients, their motivations and fears, and the political, technical, organisational or operational constraints. You will take these into consideration in communication and delivery, and effectively anticipate and avoid/remove objections or roadblocks.
You are an effective communicator and relationship builder, an accomplished storyteller (in person, in written documents, and in presentations), and aspire to be an approachable expert in all aspects of inbound marketing – and in particular SEO. You must be a self-starter, inquisitive, self-educating, and always working to improve whatever you are involved with.
You are flexible and creative enough to offer alternative perspectives and insight for any client/conversation, and methodical enough to and to get things done in the right way for the right outcome. When under pressure, you can ‘hustle’ effectively to ensure timely and effective delivery. You are self-aware, effectively utilise your strengths, and continually look to improve yourself.
