Not only do the rich snippets increase CTR and promote your content, but the markup allows data platforms like Linkdex to find every author writing about any topic, providing new opportunities for people in all sorts of industries to generate linking relationships and revenue.

Bing have been testing an interesting piece of technology which delivers the authors who are mentioned, written about or included in various articles.
